Our Services

Our Immigration solicitors are available to provide legal advice and take on casework. You can access legal advice by coming to see us at the Advice Hubs and we look forward to reopening our Thursday Immigration Advice Line in August 2025. â€‹Our free legal advice services are available to those who live, work or study in the borough of Greenwich, and who would be unable to afford to pay private legal fees.

We can give legal advice and take on cases, subject to capacity, on the following (including fee waiver applications):

  • family & private Life

  • long stay in the UK

  • domestic abuse cases

  • applications for further leave to remain by refugees

  • e-visa applications

  • change of condition applications

  • child citizenship

  • EUSS complex cases

​

We cannot give legal advice on the following:

  • any applications being made outside the UK

  • any applications involving bringing someone to the UK

  • points based applications (for example, work or student visas)

  • adult citizenship/naturalisation applications

  • applications for passports or travel documents

  • any casework relating to asylum â€‹

Advice Hubs

The Advice Hubs are funded by the Royal Borough of Greenwich and The National Lottery and provide free face-to-face support for Greenwich residents. We work in partnership with the Lewisham Refugee and Migrant Network, Woolwich Common Community Centre, Glyndon Community Centre and Clockhouse Community Centres in Woolwich. ​

We attend three Advice Hubs per week, no appointment is necessary, but people are served on a first-come first-served basis. If required, your advisor will arrange an appointment with you to come to our office.

How to find a Solicitor

Free immigration advice is in high demand at the moment, so you may need to consider paying a solicitor to assist you. You can find a nearby solicitor that might be able to assist with your case by using the following services:
